Celtic through in Old Firm semi-final to set up Aberdeen final

Celtic won the battle of the Old Firm as they overcame Rangers 2-0 to go through to the Scottish FA Cup final.

Callum McGregor put the Premiership champions ahead within 11 minutes to put Rangers on the back foot early on.

Scott Sinclair then made sure of the win 6 minutes into the second half after he scored a penalty.

They will play Aberdeen in the final after they edged past Hibernian yesterday.

If Celtic beat Aberdeen, in what will be a repeat of the 1990 final which saw Aberdeen triumph on penalties, they will achieve the treble – the first time since 2001.

The final will take place on 27th May at Scotland national stadium.
