Kosovare Asllani equalized soon after but this was cancelled out by Dzsenifer Marozsan who put the visitors back into the lead.

France striker Eugenie Le Sommer made City’s task even harder as she fired home in the second half to make the final score 3-1.

Manchester City, who are competing in the Champions League for the first time, are attempting to be the first English side in the final since Arsenal won the trophy in 2007.

The second leg is to be played on 29th April.
