Leyton Orient staff still unpaid for March

In a club statement, Leyton Orient have issued their concerns about the club’s hierarchy after members have been left unpaid.

Owner Francesco Becchetti has failed to pay the wages after he was sanctioned to pay off all the clubs debts by 12th June.

The O’s have said they are “hugely concerned” by this and said “We appeal to the club’s directors to communicate the situation and provide us with an update regarding our pay.”

The club are rock bottom of League 2 with relegation looming large.

“Despite their concern club staff have continued in their respective roles, rallying behind the team in their bid to preserve Leyton Orient’s proud English Football League association.”

A Go-Fund Me page has been set up by the supporters to help the club’s financial troubles.
